Hey everyone! I’m new to 3D printing and could really use some advice. My print has some issues, especially around the mouth and arms.
It looks like stringing and some incomplete areas, but I’m not sure if it’s due to supports, overhangs, or slicer settings. I’m using a Creality printer with Creality Slicer. Any tips or suggestions on how to fix this would be awesome! Thanks in advance 😊
Hi there! 😊 It sounds like you may be experiencing stringing and layer adhesion issues. To fix stringing, try lowering the print temperature by 5-10°C and increasing retraction distance in your slicer. For incomplete areas, ensure your supports are correctly placed and consider adjusting your infill settings for better structure. Also, check for proper bed leveling! Finally, experiment with different slicing settings like layer height and print speed. Happy printing! 🎉
Hey, your print looks great for the most part! The issues around the mouth and arms seem like they might be caused by stringing or a lack of proper supports in those overhang areas.
Here are a few things you could try:
Temperature: Double-check your nozzle temperature. If it’s too high, it can cause stringing, so lowering it a bit might help.
Supports: It might help to use ‘Tree Supports’ in the slicer if you’re not already. They’re easier to remove and do a better job with overhangs like the mouth.
Retraction Settings: Try tweaking your retraction settings—slightly increasing the distance or speed can help reduce stringing.
Model Angle: Rotating the model a little in the slicer can sometimes reduce the need for supports in tricky areas.
It’s all part of the learning curve, and you’re doing a solid job so far. Let us know if you need more help!
